Welcome to the first Journey to Love blog post! My name is Kimberley and I’m the founder of Journey to Love. In this post, you’ll discover why Journey to Love was created, what to expect and how it can benefit you.

 

How it all began

I began my journey to self-discovery and self-love back in 2013. Back then, I was a very anxious person and fear was controlling my life. As my journey unfolded, an extensive inner and outer transformation took place.

 

During this time, I worked on anything that was holding me back from comfortably being myself and creating the life I wanted. I spent vast amounts of my time researching mental health and wellbeing. It was the cause of immense suffering for myself and so many others and I wanted to find a way to end that.

 

In recent times, it became apparent that people would benefit from what I’d learnt. It was then that the idea for Journey to Love transpired.

 

Initially, this was designed to be solely a blog covering the subjects of self-love, self-discovery, and mental health and wellbeing. Over time, this has developed into a platform which will form the basis for a supportive and uplifting community based on the values of kindness, compassion, trust, authenticity and love. Inspired by the communities I’ve become a part of when travelling the world, it will be a safe place where you will receive the support you need to grow and reach your highest potential.

 

How it will help you

The information, tools and resources I will share are a product of 7 years (and continuing) independent research into mental health and well-being, the knowledge and wisdom acquired from powerful teachers from around the world and my personal experiences of overcoming adversity.

 

Most of what will be shared here will be aimed at getting you to focus on yourself. When you learn more about yourself you will become aware of who you are and what makes you happy. I will be here to guide you throughout the process. And as the community grows, we can all support each other.

 
The main subjects that will be covered in the blog are as follows:
 
Mental health and wellbeing – To increase your happiness and help you navigate through difficult times.
Self-love – To improve your relationship with yourself and others.
Self-discovery – To learn more about yourself and what makes you happy.
Mindfulness – To help you gain (and maintain) clarity and peace of mind.
Empowerment – To help increase your confidence and step into your power.
 

What to look forward to

Along with posts from myself, the blog will occasionally feature posts from guest bloggers. In the coming year, the platform will be expanded to offer courses and yoga and meditation classes. The courses will provide more in-depth content and exercises which will facilitate a deeper level of transformation.
 

In addition to this, the platform will be continuously evolving to support you at the highest level possible, ensuring you have everything you need to bring about the changes you desire.
